You know I’m always up for a good party. -smiles- Right. Good, good. Can’t havin’ ya being sick and whatnot.
That’s my boy. We need to definitely have it on a good weekend so everyone can come out from hiding. Really show the newbies how to have fun even when everyone hates us -grins- Well the life of the party can’t be sick, am I right? -laughs-
You’re too sweet love, but I doubt you’d want my cookies, they were truly not tasty.
-laughs- Well what can you make then? Sorry, random question….I myself ain’t half bad at pasta, but I never tried makin’ sweets before.
That’s all we can do, I guess. It was good! It felt like the good ole times for once. Feelin’ better?
I was thinkin’ we should have another one, for all the newbies this time. Can’ t be havin’ this place be quiet for too long right?! -laughs- Yeah I’m a lot better, not sure what it was but I just needed to sleep it off I guess.
Oh that, luckily I’m boring and none of my shit get’s published, oh I’m fine, baked some cookies the other day, they weren’t disgusting.
You’re not boring, Lily! You’re probably one of the greatest girls ‘round here -smiles- Cookies sound amazing though! I could go for a couple cookies myself, feel like making more?
Just the usual, private business gettin’ exposed to the public. Nooo big deal darlin’, what’s up with you?
-says nothing at the mumble then hears the rest Zach has to say and raises both eyebrows- Really? So just calling me a douche is what, a compliment?
Not really. What was so upsetting about it?
You’re my best friend. I can say whatever the hell I want to you
Nothing…well not yet at least. It has the potential to get bad, and knowin’ my damn luck, it will soon.
I hear ya, mate. Whatever normal is, someone should send a little our way.
Fat chance, but we can dream right? Hey how was the rest of that party? I didn’t get to stay as long as i wanted….monster stomachache -frowns-
Yeah, I’ve been a subject, have you seen me give a fuck about it? And seriously, getting upset over a gossip blog when we actually have real problems to deal with is a bit silly, even for you. Ease up, fighting among each other is the least we need right now.
-mumbles under his breath- Yeah, I recall you being a giant douchebag at one point…-speaks up- Oh come on, dude. I’d rather not hurt people’s feelings, so when that blog does it on purpose I get mad. -shrugs- Sue me.
Whatever…D-Did you read it?
“Ellen? She’s a real nice girl, we’ve hung out once or twice too.” Leo had found quick comfort in Ellen. She had arrived at the same time as him and they kind of just clicked as friends. It was kind of the same way he felt about Zach, they kind of just clicked as friends. Leo was looking forward to seeing where all these relationships led. “I actually moved rooms right after I got here. But now it’s practically silent at night. It’s starting to feel more like home with the quiet and whatnot.” He smiled at the thought of Utah and the long cool nights. Out of the corner of his eye, Leo examined Zach. The boy was good looking, for sure. A strong stature, pretty bluish green eyes, and a killer smile. When Zach smiled, Leo felt like it was his duty to smile too.
Leo finished off his first beer and happily accepted the second from Zach. “Am I really that boring?” Leo joked, a wide toothy grin appearing on his face. “Forget TV, back home I barely got to watch TV. Tell me more about yourself. What’s the coolest thing you’ve ever done? What’s the stupidest things you’ve ever done?” He took another drink and tilted his head so it faced his new friend. Leo loved getting to know people, there was always something that you didn’t know. It didn’t matter how long you knew them for, rarely did someone divulge every tidbit of personal information. “You can ask me whatever you want after you answer!”
Zach laughed, “N-No, I just…nevermind. No TV it is.” He was tongue-tied, and it was getting to be more and more obvious. A comfortable smile came across his face from Leo’s questions, relaxing a little more than before. He had thought about mentioning Ellen some more, but the thought made him feel even more guilty than the first time, so he dropped it. Zach took a quick swig before answering the questions, relishing in the taste. “Coolest thing I’ve done so far is go bungy jumping…with no cable.” He admitted, waiting to see Leo’s expression. “Kinda just came up with it one day, me ‘n’ my friend Warren went to try it out…it was awesome.” Zach drank some more and reminisced, smiling at the same time. “I’m not a goody two-shoes or somethin’, but I think the stupidest thing I’ve done is…rob a donut shop.” Zach drank quickly at that memory, wanting to drown out Leo’s inevitable laughter. “In all fairness I was really hi—hungry! Real hungry…and yeah, I got arrested. Me ‘n’ a couple others here.” He’d almost slipped up, not wanting reveal everything about himself so quickly in an effort to not lose a friend. Zach had been judged enough, he knew when to hold back or not.
“What about you?” Zach asked, geniunely curious to learn more about Leo. “Any crazy stories I should know about? Run from the cops? Rob a bank or somethin? Get super drunk and do somethin’ stupid? C’mon, out with it!” He demanded playfully, nudging Leo’s thigh and laughing. He didn’t waste time to just finish off his beer and grab another one, knowing Leo would grab one himself when he was ready. The buzz hadn’t even come yet, and Zach was beyond excited to not only finish the beers but see where they led him and his friend after.
It ruins lives if you let it. Why do you even care what they write? No one reads and likes that thing anyway. Would you I call you, chicken?
In case you haven’t realized, everyone reads that thing! If I remember right, you’ve been subject to it too so quit the high ‘n’ mighty shit alright? -growls- Watch it, Stub.
